This is a movie night in northeastern and central Pennsylvania.

Following the closure of the COVID-19 agreement, several regional theaters have reopened today.

However, a question is looming: Are people ready to return to the theater? It turns out they are.

This is the time of the screening at the Cinemark Theater in Moosic, and Hollywood fans are once again interested in it.

The company announced that it would reopen its theater and welcome guests with open arms and big screens, including its location in Lakwana County.

The theater is open 7 days a week, with extended opening hours on weekends.

Ryan Buck and Heather Schmidt of Scranton spent Friday doing things they haven't done in a while: going out for dinner and watching movies.

Buck said: "We went out to eat in Longhorn. We came here to do something, to drive us out all day instead of out of the house."

Schmidt said: "That is indeed my normal activity. I go to dinner and watch movies every other weekend, so it feels like surreal."

The company sent a video showing how its employees will regularly clean the theater.

After buying the ticket, the guest will choose a seat, and then the seats around these seats will not be available.

Buck said: “I know that once the tickets are bought, they will take off the two seats next to them and disinfect them after the movie is shown, so they will have no cash.”

Cinemark Theatre is not the only film company that has returned to the show business.

The AMC Theater on Highway 11 near Bloomsburg, Columbia County is also open, but only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

This is one of 25 theaters the company has reopened in Pennsylvania.

Ansley Burnett from Bloomberg and her 4-year-old daughter Audrey came to the sequel to The Croods, The Croods: A New Age.

Burnett said: "We stayed in the house all week, and before the holidays, you know, so it's a good habit to take her to see what she is interested in and leave the house for a long time," Burnett Say.

James Flanagan came out of Ashland's home and attended the opening night of this theater because he was a self-proclaimed movie lover.

"I heard, well, I think they will open the door, and I usually come every week, and I am the only person in my family who has a movie fan," Flanagan said. "I just can't stay away from the movie."

For those who only want to watch movies with people they know and trust, they can purchase private movie screenings provided by two theater companies.
