There are plans to reopen the bass hall.

Fort Worth for the Performing Arts, the non-profit owner and operator of the Bass Performance Hall, announced a phased reopening plan in early 2021. The plan combines the goals of general admissions performances with limited streaming opportunities and capacity and long social distance, and performances later in 2021.

Additional details about the phased reopening plan will be announced later, but the current timeline is:

 The Bass Concert Hall building remains closed.

 There are limited streaming/recording opportunities on stage without audience in Bass Hall.

Choose a limited performance that can accommodate up to 100 customers with regular tickets and social distancing.

June 2021 and beyond will be announced when the 2021-2022 season plan is proceeding as scheduled.

This phased reopening plan may change based on local conditions around COVID-19.

"The executive committee of our board of directors recently met and approved this phased reopening plan, which sets a timetable for us to safely reopen the bass performance hall from the timetable," President and CEO of Fort Worth Arts Dione Kennedy said. As owners and operators, we have a social responsibility to become community partners to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and flatten the curve of the pandemic. In addition, we have a personal responsibility to protect the health and safety of employees, volunteers, customers and tenants. We look forward to working with our resident companies and other local organizations to strive to achieve limited capacity performance in the second quarter of 2021. "

In September, there are plans to reopen the bass hall with a limited audience, but the hall is still closed. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra arranged the performance in the Will Rogers Auditorium.
