Emporia State announces seating plan for basketball season at White Auditorium

Emporia State announced that this upcoming season, approximately 1,300 fans will be allowed to participate in family men’s and women’s basketball games at the White Auditorium.

With the help of White Auditorium staff, Emporia City, Lyon County Public Health and MIAA, a seating plan was developed.

The fan entrance to the White Auditorium will be limited to the doors of Sixth Avenue and Mechanical Street. The entrance to Market Street will be reserved for the team and game workers. After entering the white hall through the walk-in screening system, the temperature will be checked. In addition to actively eating or drinking in the seat, you need to wear a mask at all times.

There will be no floor seats in the arena, and all seats will retain effective social evacuation rules.

The seats will be divided into four sections-premium gold, select black, black and stage seats-each with a different price structure.

Based only on proper social evacuation agreements, all season ticket holders who were reserved last year have pre-allocated new seats for this year.

Any general admission season ticket holders need to select reserved seats in the "Select Black" or "Black" section.

Information on how to accurately purchase tickets will appear in the near future.

Emporia State students with a valid student ID will enter for free.

The first home game will be against Newman on December 3.
