Double Vision will pay tribute to their commentary on foreign bands to the Landis Theater on Friday, January 22.

Recently, we noticed that the Landis Theater in Vineland has begun to promote a series of tribute concerts, each of which seems to be performed by a mysterious artist named "Kaycee Ray". Is there only one performer who can successfully hold a tribute concert, making it like Johnny Cash and Janis Joplin?

We soon discovered that the answer was no.

It turns out that Kaycee Ray is not actually a person or a performer. Instead, it is the combined name of Kaycee Zelkovsky and Ray Mamrak of the couple/business partner team, who bought Landis Theatre last year. In addition to Landis, they also own a sports bar in Vineland called Kaycee Ray's, which is part of the source of funding for the concert series, hence the name.

"I bought the theater about three months before the COVID became a reality," Mamrak said. "We were sitting here, invested $3 million, and there was no way to make money. Therefore, when the governor said we could accommodate 150 people, we opened and we started to book the "Kathy Ray's Tribute Concert Series."

In order to maintain the flexibility of the schedule and ease of booking during the uncertain time, and the venue restrictions are constantly changing, the salute behavior has become the first group of people in the schedule.

"I brought very good performances from places like New York. So, it's not just local people trying to play foreign music," Mamrak assured.

This year's Landis will pay tribute to Meatloaf, Grateful Death, Eagles, INXS, etc., as well as famous original performances such as Quiet Riot, and they will be on stage on Saturday, March 6.

The setting of the theater is very suitable for social events, with seats in groups of twos and threes, each six feet apart. All other seats are tightened to ensure everyone is separated safely. Last week, Landis held a Janis Joplin tribute event, which is a hot sale event for COVID (150 seats).

"It feels like people are living anew," Mamrak said.

This weekend, the Landis Band will hold two tribute events, and the foreign tribute bill "Double Vision" will be staged at 8pm on Friday, January 22. And David Clark’s "Songs in the Attic", which contains the music of Billy Joel on Saturday, January 23 at 8 pm, this is everyone’s expect:

In the age of power rock, few bands can match powerful foreigners. In a sense, Double Vision is not a relaxed band that easily produces ultrasonic effects. It is a tribute band based in New York that has successfully achieved this feat with a truly convincing style. Classic classics such as ""Juke Box Hero", "Blood", "Cold as Ice", "I want to know what love is", "Emergency", "Dual Vision", "Head Game" and "Like First Love" "Time" is all exquisitely played, and its high chorus effect makes the audience sing relaxed and interesting

Tickets for the show are $25 and can be purchased at TheLandis.

Songs In The Attic (Songs In The Attic) tries to show the real life of Billy Joel. Not only is the music played note by note, but the true voice of singer David Clark's voice is very close to Joel's, almost creepy. In addition, Clark is a Long Island boy with the same body shape, bald head and dress style as the piano player himself. After singing a few songs, you will squint to make sure it is not actually Joel on the stage.

The great thing about seeing Billy Joel paying tribute is that the number of hits for super high profile is amazing. "Piano Player", "Movin' Out (Antoni's Song)", "Strangers", "Things to Trust", "Scenery of Italian Restaurant"-the list is endless, and anyone attending the conference has the opportunity to be Sing their hearts out in the days when they heard all this kind of music on the radio.

Tickets for the show are $30 and can be purchased at TheLandis.
