The Ministry of Finance and the Small Business Administration have published a list of employers who have received more than $150,000 in loans from the Salary Protection Program.

Congress passed a $2 trillion federal CARES Act ("Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act") in March, which includes funding to establish a Payroll Protection Program (PPP).

The financial lifeline is designed to help employers keep their employees wages and pay some indirect expenses. If it is used as expected, there is no need to repay the loan.

On Monday, the Ministry of Finance and the Small Business Administration released information about companies that received PPP funding. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin (Steven Mnuchin) previously refused to release the data and overturned the decision under pressure from lawmakers.

The data released by the SBA does not include the exact loan amount of companies that have received $150,000 or more. For loans less than US$150,000, the company name was not disclosed.

The Chicago Sun Times has established a database of Illinois companies that have received loans of $1 million or more. Use the table below to search for companies, or
