A Beavercreek nursing home and retirement community wants to expand its property in Ripples Road, India.

Trinity of Beavercreek purchased another 10 acres of land near its existing property on Corrugated Road in India. Trinity of Beavercreek hopes to reallocate the land so that they can build more housing for the elderly. Now they have acquired an additional 10 acres of land, and the entire Trinity campus covers 35 acres.

Trinity in Beavercreek is an advanced retirement community that provides independent and assisted living options. The property provides acute care and memory care as well as advanced rehabilitation services. The hotel has walking trails, indoor public activity areas and a fitness center.

There are currently 34 living units and 181 bed assisted living.

The site is currently zoned as agricultural land, but the plan is to build an apartment-style building to provide more independent living space.

Russ Garber, architect of M+A Architects in Columbus, said the plan is to provide some catering services and a fitness center for the new independent living apartment building.

Garber said at the city council meeting on Monday that there will be one- and two-bedroom apartments.

If the project is finally approved, M + A Architects will be the architects of the project. The redistribution regulations will be read for the second time at the city council meeting on February 8. There is a 30-day period between the approval of the regulation and its entry into force.

After that, Trinity of Beavercreek and the architects will submit site map revisions, including reviewing any changes to the site, including slope/rainwater retention changes, approving the building elevation of any new buildings or modifications to existing buildings, Beavercreek Randy Burkett, director of planning and development, said that all landscapes have been changed and lighting configurations have been changed.

Garber said: "This will be a continuation of the work they have already done in Beaver Creek."

In 2017, Beavercreek's Trinity expanded its footprint in the city, with its existing property located on Corrugated Road in India. The project is approximately US$18 million. The proposed extension does not yet have a price tag.

United Church Homes, the company that manages Trinity at Beavercreek, also has high-end housing communities in Fairborn and Dayton. The company also has affordable housing communities across the country. The United Church House is located in Marion, Ohio.
