It is hoped that future stylists with promising careers can now join the new beauty program at Lakes Community College in Iowa. With the completion of the renovation work approved by the Lakers Salon Beauty Laboratory and the Iowa Department of Public Health's Beauty Arts and Science Committee, the beauty program is now open and mentoring the first batch of students.

Cosmetology students in Lakes, Iowa received an associate degree in applied sciences and earned college credits, allowing students to choose to continue their college education or immediately have the knowledge and competitiveness required for vocational skills to start a career. Students in the Iowa Lake area can also experience the life of college students, including living on campus, participating in sports, joining the student union, and engaging in art performances, which benefit a lot.

Tom Brotherton, Executive Dean of Emmetsburg Campus, explained.

A brand new advanced, full-service on-campus Lakers salon located on the Emmetsburg campus, with 12 styling stations, 6 standard and 1 ADA-compatible shampoo stations, a manicure and pedicure room, and four ventilated pedicure stations with six ventilation The manicure table and a classroom with counters and full mirrors are used for mannequin work.

Through classroom teaching and practical guidance, students are prepared to obtain the qualifications of licensed beauticians and professional hair stylists in the exciting health and beauty industry.
