Washington—If you are tired of watching Netflix and Hulu from the sofa and want to change the scenery, you are lucky. Two new self-driving cinemas have opened near Tyson's Mall-although they are temporary, organizers are planning to show family-friendly movies throughout the rest of the summer.

. You can bring chairs and blankets, and the entrance fee is $20 per car. If you do not have a car, you can bring a blanket or chair (up to four people) for the same entrance fee of $20.

The movie's screening time starts at around 8:30 pm and opens at 7 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. According to the Eventbrite page running in the pop-up window, development sites that use the hybrid function will show movies until at least July 16.

This summer, I stayed near Tyson's for four weeks and there were food trucks offering discounts. These movies are free, but people who watch the movies are required to donate to "Second Story", a non-profit organization that provides emergency support to people. Viewers can send SMS "MOVIE" to "50155" to make donations.
