Youth in attendance may spur new tradition at WYO Theater – Sheridan Media

The classic Western film series is in full swing at the WYO Theater. The chairman of the board of directors Gene Sturlin (Gene Sturlin) said that he was surprised and delighted to see so many parents and their children participating in the premiere movie "Apple Dumpling Gang". 

When Sturing appeared on Sheridan Meida's "Public Pulse," he told the audience that families with children participated in the opening film, which inspired him and WYO Theatre Executive Director Ai Erin Butler considers new traditions for the annual classic Western film series. 

In order to ensure the safety of the audience, WYO Theater adjusted the seating arrangement to meet the requirements of social distancing and limited the number of tickets sold for each movie.

. Sturin recommends buying tickets as soon as possible to ensure that audiences who wish to attend one or more performances are seated. In the WYO theater, customers must wear masks.

This year, the series of films are still lining up. They are adult Western films. Culpepper Cattle Co. starring Gary Grimes and Popkins will be in John Wayne and Geraldine Page on January 17. Hondo, starring Ward Bond. January 24. The last film "Canada Pacific", which was co-produced with Randolph Scott and Jane Wyatt, is this year's Western Train Special and will be screened on January 31. All films are screened at 2 pm on Sundays in January.  

The film series was provided by the Christine Gempp Love Foundation and the John & Helen Ilsley Family Foundation, and received the Let'er Buck car wash, Gene & Vicie Sturlin, Vacutech, TruBuilt Builders , Robert & Tracy Boyle and Kim & Mary Kay for additional support. Love.
